About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Content Specialist to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a Data Content Specialist, you will play a critical role in understanding, managing, and transforming raw data content from various sources for our trading team, investment quants, and investment desk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Combine and transform raw data into useful insights, analysis, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
  • Data Sourcing and Interrogation: Interrogate various vendor data endpoints to source and analyze data, ensuring data consistency, completeness, and accuracy across all platforms.
  • Data Documentation and Governance: Develop data dictionaries and other documentation to ensure data quality and governance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with technology teams to implement and enhance data systems and processes, and communicate complex data and technical information to front office traders.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills with Python and SQL, experience with version control, and contributing to a shared codebase.
  • Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of data management principles and best practices, and a strong understanding of financial markets and investment management.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex data and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
