ERP Planner Job Description

The ERP Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for end-to-end planning, maintaining MRP accuracy, and utilizing MRP exception reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide functional and transactional ERP system support to the business.
  2. Develop and implement material availability planning strategies.
  3. Create and control shop orders to meet production demands.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate production documentation and revisions.
  5. Develop and schedule MRP planning data to optimize production workflows.
  6. Generate and analyze production reports to inform business decisions.
  7. Respond to queries and provide support via phone, email, and Teams.
Requirements:
  1. Experience with MRP and ERP systems, with IFS experience being desirable.
  2. Strong understanding of MRP principles and practices.
  3. Planning and scheduling expertise.
  4. Training or experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. High-level reporting and data analysis capabilities.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects and objectives effectively.
  9. Strong organizational and planning skills.
  10. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  11. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Arrangements:
  1. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (flexi-time scheme available).
  2. Early finish on Fridays.
  3. Access to a healthcare scheme.
  4. Bonus scheme.
  5. Salary range: £32,000 - £37,000 depending on experience.
