Electrical Mate Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Mate to work on high-end shop fit-out projects. The successful candidate will provide essential support to qualified electricians in the installation of electrical systems and containment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Containment Installation: Assist in the installation of various types of electrical containment systems, ensuring all installations meet the highest standard and quality expectations.
  • Support Qualified Electricians: Provide assistance with pulling cables, wiring, and fixing electrical components, as well as preparing materials and tools as required by the lead electrician.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and report any issues or discrepancies in installations to the site supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to the project.

This role requires a strong understanding of electrical containment practices, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work to a high standard. An up-to-date CSCS card is mandatory for this position.
