We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber & Data Associate to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a leading international law firm, we are renowned for our work in technology, intellectual property, and information law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on data protection, cybersecurity, and privacy issues to multinational corporations, technology companies, and financial institutions.
  • Work closely with clients to navigate the complexities of global privacy projects and compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic counsel to ensure clients' compliance with data protection laws, AI regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Engage directly with clients, manage projects, and collaborate with international colleagues to provide exceptional service.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years PQE solicitor with a minimum of two years in data protection, cybersecurity law, or a related commercial technology field.
  • Strong understanding of national and international data protection legislation, including GDPR and the EU AI Act.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to navigate complex legal frameworks and provide clear, actionable advice to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
