McCarthy Stone is seeking a dedicated Care and Support Assistant to become a vital part of our esteemed team.

Compensation: £11.58 per hour, with potential for additional earnings.

Working Hours: 16 hours per week.

Role Overview: As a Care and Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional individual care to our residents, helping them to enjoy their later years to the fullest. Your duties will encompass housekeeping and domestic support throughout the estate, including cleaning apartments. You will also engage residents in various activities that promote their health and well-being. Additional responsibilities include assisting residents with appointment scheduling, transportation arrangements, and shopping needs. Each day will present diverse challenges, allowing you to utilize your interpersonal skills to make a meaningful impact.

Candidate Profile:

  • A warm and friendly demeanor, with experience in a care or support role preferred.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the well-being and happiness of older adults, coupled with a team-oriented approach in a dynamic work environment.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A desire to work within the Health and Social Care sector, with a preference for candidates holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, though relevant experience and alternative qualifications will also be considered.
