Orthopaedic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders, including trauma and elective orthopaedic conditions.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hospital with a strong reputation for providing excellent patient care. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality surgical care to patients with musculoskeletal disorders
- Conduct clinical audits and research to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in the training and education of junior medical staff
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Basic Medical Degree (e.g. MBBS)
- FRCS T&O or equivalent
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via: CCT (Proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview), European Community Rights or CESR, Evidence of Higher Specialist Training in Trauma & Orthopaedics (or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview), Fellowship level training in Arthroplasty and Trauma
- Interest in robotic surgery
