Gold Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team on a high-profile new build project in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of site-based professionals in delivering a £150m project, which includes the construction of multiple RC Frame buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Take overall responsibility for the sound completion of a section of works on a major construction project, leading by example and managing the day-to-day delivery of the project.
- Ensure all teams are correctly inducted, carrying out their specific roles to the highest standards and identifying areas for improvement.
- Motivate the team and manage performance, offering support through training and coaching as and when required.
- Prepare and monitor short-term programmes.
- Maintain accurate project progress records.
- Ensure awareness of project budgets, cost control, cost recovery, and ensuring the project expenditure is in line with the contracted budget and all resources are being utilised efficiently.
- A proven track record of delivering large-scale new build projects within the education, commercial, leisure, industrial, or retail sectors for a tier one main contractor.
- Previous experience working on Reinforced Concrete building projects.
- Excellent communication skills, familiar with site health & safety, and driven to progress their careers.
- A starting salary of £60,000 to £65,000.
- A company car or allowance of £5,000.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
