Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at BBC Studios. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing crew, running the production office, and deputising for the Line Producer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the production team, including crew, cast, and production staff.
- Oversee the production office, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Line manage the Production Coordinator, Assistant Production Coordinator, and Runners.
- Deputise for the Line Producer as required.
- Develop and implement production schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in drama production management, ideally as Production Manager.
- Proven track record of managing busy and efficient production offices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
