Overview:

About the Role:
An esteemed primary institution is currently seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for graduates or seasoned teaching assistants looking to enhance their experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Behavioural Support.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree with a minimum classification of 2:2 and have prior experience working with children with SEN. You will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to pupils facing Special Needs and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with children who experience mental health challenges and display difficult behaviours.
- Assist students with learning disabilities, including Autism.
- Employ effective behaviour management strategies and, ideally, have some training in restraint techniques.

Contract Details:
- Duration: 1 year
- Daily Rate: £83-£90

The successful applicant will be a confident and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, enthusiastic about contributing positively to a child's educational journey. This role serves as an excellent platform for aspiring educators to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing formal teaching qualifications.

Relevant Experience:
Experience in youth work, support roles, mental health assistance, or SEN in sports is highly regarded.
