General Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team at the GP Urgent Care Hub in University Lewisham Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages, working in conjunction with our Urgent Care Hub Clinical Lead and Service Manager.

One Health Lewisham is a forward-thinking integrated community provider, delivering innovative services for patients, supporting practices, and PCNs. We strive to develop streamlined and transformative pathways, supporting the wider integrated care system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide complete consultations with assessment, treatment, and management of patients presenting with primary care problems at the GP Urgent Care Hub.
- Record full clinical notes using the GP Urgent Care Hub IT systems.
- Complete all admin work relating to consultations.
- Work as part of the wider clinical team, supporting Nurse Practitioners, HCAs, and GP colleagues.
- Manage referrals of patients to acute specialties, A&E, or community services where required.
- Support the redirection of patients to their registered GP.
Requirements
- Full registration with the GMC.
- Appropriate qualification to practice medicine in the UK.
- Completion of GP vocational training or equivalent (MRCGP).
- Registered on a ICB Principle or Performers List with no restrictions on practice as a GP.
- 1+ years experience working in general practice.
- Experience using the EMIS Clinical System.
Location and Hours
GP Urgent Care Hub, University Hospital Lewisham. 4 sessions per week (16 hours per week).
