Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our valued customers while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare your assigned vehicle by conducting operator maintenance checks, verifying product accuracy, and ensuring safe loading procedures.
- Complete delivery notes, return sheets, and process payments accurately.
- Fulfill any special customer requests by picking up and delivering items as specified on the delivery note.
- Maintain customer confidentiality by adhering to strict protocols regarding premise security and operational information.
- Review run sheets, picked orders, and delivery schedules to plan your route efficiently.
- Communicate any stock shortages or delivery issues promptly to customers.
- Return empty cases and gas bottles correctly, ensuring they are stored appropriately in the designated areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures diligently.
- Complete required vehicle checks and submit check sheets to the distribution manager.
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to LWC Drinks uniform guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of safe driving practices.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle type.
