We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide expert advice on eye care and vision correction.
- Work closely with our Dispensing Optician Manager to support the development of our departmental standards and training programs.
- Participate in extended service contracts with the NHS and contribute to the delivery of a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, colleagues, and external partners to ensure excellent service levels and a positive customer experience.
- Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
- MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda – funded and supported by us).
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
