About You:

  • Must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and be open to obtaining business insurance
  • Seeking a long-term engagement
  • Possess GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C or higher
  • Able to work Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Prior experience with children or adults with special educational needs is advantageous
  • Must maintain good physical health and fitness
  • Demonstrate resilience
  • Proactive with the ability to think critically in dynamic situations

Your daily responsibilities will be diverse, with mornings typically spent on-site and afternoons dedicated to engaging in extracurricular activities, often off-site. Mornings will involve supporting educators in delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring student engagement in the learning process. You will provide both academic and emotional support.

The latter part of your day will generally involve taking students off-site for experiential learning beyond the classroom. Activities may encompass sports, adventurous pursuits, visiting other educational institutions, or participating in vocational training.

All students you will engage with may have encountered childhood adversity, making it crucial for you to embody a nurturing, empathetic, and patient demeanor. You will take pride in understanding and connecting with your students before addressing behavioral challenges.
