The Cleveland Metroparks Golf Course Starter/Cart Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the golf experience for guests. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to golf guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Monitor the golf course, ensuring that guests are aware of and adhere to course etiquette, rules, and policies.
- Coordinate the order of play, maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of golfers.
- Assist guests with equipment, including carrying bags to the power cart, pull cart, or bag rack.
- Operate the driving range ball picker cart and range ball washer, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate and enforce all golf course etiquette, rules, and policies, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Perform general housekeeping duties along driving range stations, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Respond to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions, taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
Requirements
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all golf course etiquette, rules, and policies.
