The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial professional to lead our commercial efforts on the upgrade of terminal and infrastructure works at Gatwick. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial elements and profitability for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Procure subcontractors and maintain commercial control of subcontract packages.
  • Maximise value recovery, cost control, and cash management.
  • Protect Mace's contractual position and prepare financial reports.
  • Manage subcontract and materials orders, and develop commercial awareness of the site team.
  • Lead a commercial team over multiple projects and work closely with the delivery director for programme delivering strategy.

You will have a relevant degree qualification and a construction or project management background. You will be digitally savvy, able to build lasting client relationships, and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams. You will be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
