Your Role

As a Clinical Homecare Nurse, you will work in a variety of environments, including clinics, residential accommodations, and patients' own homes. You will be responsible for providing compassionate support to patients and their families, educating them to promote understanding and independence, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient observations and ensure patients are fit to proceed with their treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and independence.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.

Requirements

  • Full NMC registration.
  • Excellent cannulation/phlebotomy skills.
  • Experience in standard and complex infusion therapies.
  • Commitment to maintain professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the services provided.
  • Chemotherapy/SACT experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.

Benefits

  • Annual salary: £36,646 - £38,000 (depending on experience).
  • Car allowance up to £6,465 per annum or entry to a salary sacrifice scheme.
