About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Verification Specialist to join our dynamic team at ARM. As a key member of our FPGA Prototyping verification team, you will play a crucial role in driving the verification of SoC RTL designs modified for FPGA implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain SoC verification testbench
  • Integrate third-party VIPs and write test cases in C
  • Reuse C test cases from internal IP SoC frontend team
  • Create test plans and develop tools using scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell
  • Collaborate with engineers from other teams to lead verification efforts
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the team
Requirements
  • Experience working with embedded C++ based SoC verification environments
  • Knowledge of systems using AMBA bus standards (e.g., AXI, AHB, APB)
  • Extensive experience in relevant verification, including technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching junior engineers
  • Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals
  • Experience with Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages
  • Exposure to all stages of verification (requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures
  • Familiarity with ARM debugger and trace features (e.g., ARM DS, DSTREAM)
  • Experience with verification methodologies (UVMOVM)
