About the Role:

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be the primary point of contact for client and provider queries, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner. You'll provide office-based support to your assigned Account Executive, managing a client portfolio through New Business, MTA (Mid-Term Adjustments), and Renewal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: You'll be the primary contact for clients, resolving queries and ensuring a smooth service experience.
  • Portfolio Management: This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting Account Executives with a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.
  • Process Involvement: You'll play a crucial role in managing New Business, Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs), and Renewal processes, broadening your industry knowledge.
  • Relationship Building: This is a great opportunity to develop and strengthen relationships with clients and insurers, enhancing your skillset and network in the industry.
  • Progression: Our client offers great opportunities to progress within the company at a rate that you're comfortable with.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in Commercial insurance.
  • Skills: Strong IT, communication, rapport building, and negotiation skills are a must, along with a professional phone manner.
  • Attributes: A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
  • Qualifications: Cert CII is preferable but not essential (full support for study provided).
