Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Services: Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital, adhering to infection prevention and control policies.
  • Cleaning Schedules: Complete assigned cleaning schedules, ensuring rooms are ready for immediate occupation and public areas are clean.
  • Communication: Maintain close contact with the Senior Housekeeper and report any concerns regarding housekeeping issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff to understand the special needs of the hospital on a day-to-day basis.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of equipment, checking for faults and supply shortages, and reporting them to the line manager.
  • Health and Safety: Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing environment and housekeeping.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, ability to work unsupervised, and a positive and flexible approach to customer service.
  • Training: Willing and able to complete mandatory training for COSHH, Manual Handling, Infection Control, food hygiene, and Health & Safety.
