Role Overview:

This position offers a unique chance to oversee the supply chain for a specific product category. You will be tasked with precise stock management, forecasting, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to achieve availability and profitability objectives. Collaborating closely with the senior buyer, you will evaluate product performance, introduce new items, and implement sustainable enhancements in availability and waste reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales and ensuring product availability through strategic forecasting and inventory management, including daily purchase order processing with suppliers.
  • Accountable for product availability and waste management within your designated category.
  • Facilitating effective communication and relationship development with operational, IT, and sales teams to optimize stock management throughout the supply chain.
  • Establishing and nurturing supplier relationships to guarantee delivery accuracy, ensuring products arrive on time and in full, complemented by regular service reviews.
  • Overseeing the accuracy and maintenance of all product and supplier information within the system.
