Payroll Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Butler Rose. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our weekly and monthly payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify timesheets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage new starter information, collaborating with colleagues to resolve any missing details.
  • Apply tax codes, student loans, and other notices from HMRC efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate and distribute self-bill invoices, remittances, payslips, and client invoices.
  • Oversee the management of Purchase Orders and resolve any invoice-related questions.
  • Handle pension communications and manage file uploads with care.
  • Assist with various ad-hoc duties as needed, contributing to both finance and payroll teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with payroll systems is essential.
