About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Exeter office. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of commercial matters, including supply agreements, Ts&Cs, distribution agreements, and joint venture agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to clients on commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
- Support General Counsel on business critical projects.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
- Manage files in compliance with Lexcel procedures.
- Participate in department and firm-wide marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent with 6 years' PQE in advising on commercial matters.
- Excellent technical skills and innovative approach to their application.
- Proven ability to take on responsibility, manage and progress matters independently where appropriate.
- Strong client focus and service delivery.
- Drive and enthusiasm.
- Commercial awareness.
- Aptitude for and proven business development experience.
- Substantial client management experience.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Methodical, disciplined and organised.

- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.
