Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Hampshire.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to cover sites within the Hampshire area at client locations. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of MOTS and COTS products, both company and customer owned, within their engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively maintain a fleet of MOTS and COTS products, both company and customer owned, within their engineering capabilities.
  • Maximise the operational availability for the customer by investigating, understanding and eliminating failed/fault operation of those products.
  • Identify any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware.
  • Complete all related job and service documentation with accurate data and all necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer.
  • Repair, maintain, inspect and service plant, equipment such as Fork Trucks and associated ancillaries to current company standards and LOLER and PUWER legislation.
  • Maintain local stocks of spares, CES, ancillaries, attachments and local technical documentation, as appropriate.
  • Ensure that safe systems of work are adopted and company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies are read, understood and adhered to at all times.
  • Authorised to mentor MoD maintainers and users, within limits of own qualification, ability and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in vehicle diagnosis techniques.
  • Experience in construction related plant/MHE/HGV maintenance, Fork Truck would be highly desirable.
  • Full Driving Licence is essential.
  • Candidates will need to be eligible to gain full Security clearance for the role.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of circa £34,500 plus annual bonus, as well as opportunity for overtime. Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hours). A contributory Pension Scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and other great benefits are offered along with a company Van.
