Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving diverse HGV issues.
  • Ensuring careful handling of all vehicles and adherence to safety protocols on-site.
  • Collaborating with the parts department to procure the necessary components.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations and maintaining safe working practices.
  • Upholding a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Performing routine maintenance on commercial vehicles and HGVs.
  • Accurately recording clocking's and completing job cards and service sheets promptly.
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections.
  • Executing warranty work.
  • Engaging in workshop-based or roadside repairs.
  • Participating in breakdown standby on a rotational basis.
  • Keeping abreast of product knowledge.
