About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our Integrated Mental Health Team in Lichfield & Burntwood. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned recovery-focused care to a defined caseload, working collaboratively with other Trust services to provide seamless care.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies to support service-users access to services in the independent and non-statutory sector.
  • Deliver agreed therapeutic interventions to assist service users in achieving their recovery goals, including improving activities of daily living, social inclusion, and mental health promotion.
  • Contribute to planning and delivering therapeutic activities with an identified group of service users as part of the care programme approach.

Requirements
  • Advanced Apprenticeship in (Mental) Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 3 in (Mental) Health and Social Care with demonstrable evidence of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs, non-Dementia related.
  • Strong team-working skills, a high level of self-motivation, and a flexible approach.
  • A positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate, with a commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice.
