Senior Hydraulic Engineer Opportunity

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our water industry team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer with a strong background in fluid mechanics and hydraulic analysis software. You will be responsible for defining and setting the direction of engineering projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver world-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead hydraulic engineering projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Develop and implement hydraulic analysis models using software such as Hades, Varism, or Flow 3D
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic engineering, with a strong background in fluid mechanics and hydraulic analysis software
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
