Role Purpose
We are seeking a seasoned property/business agent to enhance our Childcare & Education Team following an internal promotion. This role entails sourcing and executing transactions for childcare and education businesses across the Yorkshire region and the North East. You will be responsible for generating leads, processing instructions, and managing deals through to completion. Engaging with clients and buyers will be a key aspect of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential buyers primarily via telephone and maintain records using our Salesforce-based CRM system.
- Document and manage applicant requirements.
- Prepare, distribute, and oversee marketing materials, including mail and email campaigns.
- List, promote, and manage sales opportunities, including coordinating viewings and offers.
- Facilitate and follow up on viewings, ensuring thorough buyer due diligence.
- Negotiate and finalize deals, coordinating with legal teams throughout the sales process.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding instruction activities.
- Enhance personal and company visibility by collaborating with the marketing team to produce high-quality promotional materials.
- Develop and implement a personal business generation strategy to attract new sales inquiries.
- Present Christie & Co’s credentials, offer pricing insights, and secure sale mandates.
- Collaborate with regional and national teams on corporate initiatives.
- Network effectively within the designated territory.
- Strengthen our reputation and presence locally and nationally.
Working Relationships
This position reports directly to the Head of Brokerage for Childcare & Education and ultimately to the Managing Director of the department. You will also collaborate closely with regional fee earners, finance and insurance brokers, support staff, and a broader central support team, including IT and Marketing personnel.
Candidate Profile
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in commercial or residential estate agency; Essential

- Relevant degree in Real Estate; Desirable
- GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above; Essential
