An exciting opportunity has arisen within North East Wales CAMHS. We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join our team across Flintshire.
Main DutiesWe are looking for a practitioner who can have a flexible approach to work across different areas of the service, with the enthusiasm needed to engage a wide range of children, young people, their families, and other professionals in meeting their diverse needs.
The successful candidate will join our clinical team, providing assessment and interventions for children and young people, primarily supporting all areas of the service, including unscheduled care within the service.
This will include urgent mental health assessments, risk assessments, and supporting the initial contact with the service through our single point of access.
RequirementsWe are seeking a registered professional who is compliant with the Mental Health Measure, with a relevant governing body (NMC, Social Care Council, or Health Professionals Council).
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the community with children and young people/adults who are displaying a range of risk-type behaviors, complex mental health needs, and complex family situations.
The service operates day working, and the willingness and ability to work across the service hours is essential.
