About the Role:
BWW Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Governance Officer to join our client, a prestigious private members club based in the South West. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation steeped in history and embark on a period of modernisation and development of its laws, bye-laws, and wider policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Secretary & Chief Executive, as well as The Chief of Staff, to bring experience of governance and wider company secretarial duties to the fore in helping to navigate the organisation, all committee members, and even club members through this time of positive change.
- Bring strong, documented experience of working in a variety of organisations, supporting on a wide range of company secretarial and governance matters.
- Have big involvement in helping shape the organisation's laws, bye-laws, and wider policies.
Requirements:
- Strong, documented experience of working in a variety of organisations, supporting on a wide range of company secretarial and governance matters.
- Ability to work closely with the Secretary & Chief Executive, as well as The Chief of Staff, to bring experience of governance and wider company secretarial duties to the fore.
- Flexibility to work on a 2 or 3 days per week basis or perhaps shorter days spread over 4 or 5 days.
