Unit Manager

As a Unit Manager - Youth Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by leading a team of dedicated volunteers and guiding them to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging session plans to inspire young people and volunteers
- Induct new cadets into the unit and provide ongoing support and guidance
- Manage cadet IT, uniform, and training to ensure seamless integration
- Plan and facilitate virtual meetings and development days to foster collaboration and growth
- Work closely with cadets through the Cadet to Adult transfer process to ensure a smooth transition
- Proactively manage youth leaders and cadets to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young people and volunteers
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Empowering and encouraging role model with a passion for youth development
- Clear communicator and active listener with the ability to build strong relationships
