Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Sciences Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to the development of new processes and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Production team in delivering equipment and process establishment, process documentation generation and approval, and implementation of effective, safe, and compliant production manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure that processes for products to be manufactured are set up and maintained in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures, and other regulatory agency requirements.
  • Participate in equipment and process establishment and validation phases, and contribute to the development of new processes and products.
  • Collaborate with other members of the project team to deliver project goals and objectives.
  • Support the implementation of staff training and development programs to ensure competency and support the achievement of objectives.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing, filling, inspection, and packaging processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track improvements and prevent troubleshooting solutions from being implemented.
Requirements
  • Actively participating in a Science or Engineering-based degree, ideally in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Chemical Engineering.
  • Aptitude for or working knowledge of mechanical and software operation.
  • Proactive approach to work with a willingness to do what needs to be done to deliver against milestones.
  • Pragmatic/common sense approach to problem-solving.
