Job Title: Conference and Events Manager

We are seeking an experienced Conference and Events Manager to provide exceptional hospitality to our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conference and events departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the hotel's conference rooms, working closely with colleagues and the night team to maintain brand standards.
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to ensure the smooth running of all weddings and events, meeting guest requirements.
  • Ensure all function rooms and conference rooms are set and presentable at all times.
  • Work with the Breakfast Manager and Restaurant & Bars Manager to produce an efficient rota, utilizing staff to meet the business needs of the wider Food and Beverage Department.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with the Conference and Events sales team to understand Conference, Wedding, and Event requirements, attending 48-hour meetings with wedding couples to ensure a smooth handover.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Conference and Events role, either as a senior supervisor or manager, with a strong desire to progress your career.
  • Experience working in a 4-star hotel would be advantageous.
  • Ability to support the wider Food and Drinks departments as required.
  • High levels of self-motivation and the ability to motivate, lead, and develop a team.
  • Exemplary customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Passion for working within the hospitality industry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multi-task in a pressurized environment.
