ABC Imaging is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Large Format Operator to join our team. As a key member of our print production department, you will be responsible for operating large format printing equipment, ensuring high-quality prints, and maintaining a smooth production workflow.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate large format printing equipment, including flatbed and roll-to-roll printers, to produce high-quality prints.
  • Pre-flight files to ensure accuracy and quality, and make necessary corrections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of printers, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure efficient inventory control.
  • Print onto various substrates, including vinyl, boards, and other materials.
  • Apply application tape, weed vinyl, and mount and seal prints, boards, and vinyl.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest printing technologies and techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

**Equipment Experience:**

  • Canon 460 Arizona flatbed printer
  • Canon Colorado roll-to-roll printers
  • Mimaki UVJ Grand format roll-to-roll printer
  • Summa D160 vinyl cutter
  • Zund G3 Cutter
  • Easy mount mounter

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive experience with large format printing and pre-press processes.
  • Experience running a large format department and managing print production workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of printing software, including Onyx Thrive, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
