Maintenance Technician

At Holt Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and infrastructure in a demanding production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive and re-active maintenance tasks to ensure high plant uptime.
- Conduct fault finding and repair of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Complete general maintenance checks and documented safety checks on moulding machines.
- Manage the company's PAT requirements and arrange for 3rd party completion.
- Assist the engineering team with the installation of new equipment.
- Aid the tooling maintenance team as needed.
Requirements:
- Time-served multi-skilled Maintenance Technician/Engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
- Hold an engineering qualification, ideally along with a formal practical electrical qualification.
- Competent in electrical circuits and strong manufacturing background.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy, and competent in use of office IT systems.
Desirable:
- Experience of PLC faultfinding/interrogation and manufacturing robotics knowledge.
