The London Borough of Bromley is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Social Workers to join their Adult Learning Disability team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing care management and safeguarding support to individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing strength-based care act assessments and MCA's
- Managing duty and annual statutory reviews
- Providing care and support under the Care Act 2014
- Safeguarding and longer-term case work
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assess and review individuals in receipt of care and support, and provide excellent report writing and computer skills. Record keeping is a vital part of the job, and you must be able to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and partner agencies.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Social Work, or equivalent, and be committed to ongoing professional development. A full current driving licence is desirable, and the ability to use a means of transport is also required for the performance of the job.
