We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at The University of Manchester, working on ALMA science and support activities.

The successful candidate will play a leading role in the UK ALMA Regional Centre Node, supporting astronomers with ALMA observations, data acquisition, and processing. They will also be responsible for testing and enhancing software and imaging tools, with significant interaction with the ESO ARC and the European ARC Node network.

For the remaining 25% of their time, the successful candidate will engage in their own independent research program focused on ALMA science, in collaboration with researchers locally and elsewhere.

This is a full-time post available from 1 January 2025 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 26 months.
