Key Responsibilities
• Assist the team leader in managing and facilitating the professional development of staff, fostering an effective research environment.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of research methodologies and delivery, sharing this knowledge with clinical colleagues.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills throughout the research process to evaluate participant eligibility and provide ongoing guidance and information regarding their involvement in research, ensuring informed consent is effectively obtained.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators and Sponsor organizations to ensure optimal utilization of research resources and compliance with data collection standards in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Maintain awareness of confidentiality risks related to participant information and research activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all research activities, including the design and management of databases.
• Contribute to clinical and research governance processes, including reporting adverse events and incidents, and collaborating in any necessary investigations.
• Oversee the upkeep of investigator site files and essential documentation, ensuring they remain inspection-ready in line with ICH-GCP and Trust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Organize participant visits, complete case report forms, and maintain study documentation in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP).

Job Requirements
This position is open to individuals who hold a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are nearing completion of their course and expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next few months. Please note that an NMC PRN PIN does not meet the essential criteria for this role.
