We are seeking a skilled and driven Logistics Manager to become a vital part of our team. This role will be instrumental in facilitating the logistics operations for our projects, ensuring efficient management of logistics services and supply chain activities across various operational regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Assistance

  • Collaborate with various departments (Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Fabrication, Operations, etc.) to aid in the creation of Logistics Cost Models.
  • Formulate Logistics Cost Models to support tender submissions.
  • Develop comprehensive cost models that encompass transportation planning for materials and equipment, along with budget formulation and cost distribution.
  • Establish cost models for in-country logistics activities aligned with operational needs and timelines, covering aspects such as port calls, shore bases, handling, personnel movements, and customs evaluations.
  • Generate cost estimates through Requests for Quotations from logistics service providers in relevant operational areas.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and procedures to support logistics tender requirements.

Logistics Operations Support

  • Ensure adherence to all supply chain policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist in the pre-qualification of suppliers as necessary.
  • Support the issuance of Requests for Quotations for logistics services in operational regions.
  • Conduct commercial assessments, normalization, and evaluation of supplier offers.
  • Prepare bid summaries and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate evaluations with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations with selected suppliers prior to contract awards and during subcontract placements.
  • Work proactively with internal teams to ensure robust processes are in place to support supply chain logistics activities.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with logistics personnel in operational regions.
  • Understand specific requirements for the countries where project activities will occur.
  • Assist in managing logistics budgets, ensuring cost tracking throughout projects, and communicating budget versus actual expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and local laws at both origin and destination locations.
  • Operate in alignment with company values and ethical standards.
