Job Description

Curriculum Leader – Digital Technologies

Newcastle College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Leader to join our team. As a key member of our curriculum leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of our Digital Technologies curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with College strategic objectives and industry standards.
  • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality learning activities that drive learner progress and achievement.
  • Manage and support a team of lecturers, instructors, and technicians to ensure high levels of performance and quality provision.
  • Monitor and evaluate curriculum provision against key performance indicators and benchmarks, implementing improvement plans where necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers and stakeholders to ensure effective partnerships and high levels of employer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of College policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience of curriculum design, development, and delivery, with a focus on Digital Technologies.
  • Proven track record of improving learner success and progression within education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of deploying learning technologies and tracking processes to support learners to achieve and progress.
