We are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to manage all fixed asset activities within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of fixed assets
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of fixed asset purchases and disposals
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain asset accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to identify fixed asset needs and optimize asset utilization
- Prepare and present fixed asset reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations related to fixed assets
- Participate in the annual budgeting process to ensure accurate asset valuation
- Support other accounting tasks as required
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
