Acorn by Synergie is collaborating with Honeywell to offer an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer in the aerospace sector. This full-time position is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality in aerospace equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion and facilitate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) initiatives.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders, representing Honeywell at all levels to ensure favorable outcomes.
  • Utilize methodologies such as Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS) and Built-in Quality to identify best practices and drive continuous quality enhancements across the organization.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of the internal audit program, including customer and regulatory audits, to assess the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  • Oversee the Supplier Audit Schedule and perform Quality System Audits in accordance with site protocols.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through direct engagement, focusing on improving communication and compliance.
  • Assist in reviewing contractual quality requirements to guarantee adherence to Honeywell, customer, EASA, CAA, AS9100, and other regulatory standards.
  • Authorize Quality Assurance documentation and process approvals as directed by the Quality Manager.
  • Support and implement projects aimed at standardizing and enhancing existing Quality Assurance processes to comply with Honeywell AERO and regulatory requirements.

Working Hours:

  • Various shifts available, including:
  • Days: Monday to Thursday (07:00 to 15:30) & Friday (07:00 to 12:00)
  • Days/Late Swing Shift: Monday to Thursday (07:00 to 15:30) & Friday (07:00 to 13:00); Late shifts from Monday to Thursday (15:30 to 00:00)
  • Permanent Nights: Starting Sunday night at 22:00 and concluding at 07:00 on Monday, continuing through the week.

Compensation:
Hourly rates range from £18.34 to £23.38, depending on experience and shift.
