Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at French Resources Limited. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing strategic HR support to our organization, ensuring that our employees are engaged, motivated, and equipped to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support employees and line managers on a wide range of employment-related issues, ensuring fairness and consistency in all interactions.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance on employment law and company policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead on absence and long-term sickness cases, working closely with employees and managers to resolve issues and implement return-to-work plans.
  • Ensure prompt response to employee queries and provide in-person support as needed.
  • Provide ongoing briefing and coaching for managers on employment policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all people-related business activities are legally compliant and aligned with company values.
  • Complete all line management tasks for the HR Assistant, including performance reviews and development planning.
  • Manage the recruitment process for all candidates, providing assistance with interviewing and development of role profiles.
  • Ensure all policies are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work with the London HR Project Manager to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives.
  • Confidently handle all activities related to the employee life cycle, from hiring to contract ends.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Assistant, or relevant HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualified or other relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Previous management experience is mandatory.
  • Tenacious, resourceful, and resilient, with the ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent confidentiality skills and employment law knowledge.
  • Willingness to develop others to a high caliber of output and delivery.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • French language skills are a bonus, although not a requirement.
