Job Title: Furniture Installation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Installation Specialist to join our team at Johnsons 1871 Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation of new furniture, moving office furniture and other items to new premises or via storage, and working in small through to large teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct technical aspects of decommissioning/commissioning of furniture and conducting installations
* Maintain and comply with all company and legislation requirements
* Educate, train and develop other team members in furniture installation, emphasizing best practice, quality and standards
* Promote company core standards and values
* Assist the management of external contractors during installation
* Ensure the furnishing of extensive property protection to ensure delivery of service levels

Requirements:

* Safely packaging items before removal or storage
* Wrap & protect furniture when required
* Taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal
* Packing furniture, loading them into your vehicle and securing them safely
* Checking that all goods are secure before driving off
* Driving to the new location, unloading the items and installing to scope

Working Hours:

* Working 5/6 days a week of 7, which may include weekends and/or evenings
* Ability to work away in the UK when required, staying in approved accommodation with travel expenses

You MUST hold a full driver's licence for this position

Furniture fitting experience required
