Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

Job Summary:

Britannia Global Markets Limited is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing the credit risk exposure of our clients and counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations of clients and counterparties, including financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and qualitative assessments.
  • Perform due diligence on new and existing clients, assessing their creditworthiness and ability to meet margin requirements.
  • Assign internal credit ratings and recommend credit or trading limits for clients and counterparties.
  • Monitor and track the credit exposures of clients, ensuring compliance with established limits.
  • Generate regular risk reports and provide insights to senior management on emerging risks or areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Support Functions to ensure proper documentation and implementation of risk controls.
  • Enhance and maintain the current internal credit scoring model, including building default models.
  • Liaise with regulators and auditors as necessary to ensure compliance with risk management standards.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of internal risk policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in the brokerage, investment, or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and stress testing.
  • Experience with credit risk modelling tools, financial software, and risk management systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
