About the Role

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a key role in driving business growth and profitability in the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Elvie.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with regional teams to achieve budget and 5-year plan growth targets
  • Participate in the annual planning process, including budget, forecasts, and 3-year plan development
  • Develop business cases for key in-market decisions, such as new product launches or expansion into new channels and markets
  • Lead commercial contract negotiations and develop a deep understanding of the regional marketing spend
  • Monitor and report on project budgets and business partner with regional teams to aid budget development
  • Build a detailed understanding of the full P&L and make recommendations on how to improve profitability, including margin analysis
  • Prepare insightful commentary and analysis on business performance
  • Assist with wider and ongoing analysis and projects/business cases as directed by the Head of Commercial Finance and CFO
  • Continuously improve processes and efficiencies within the Commercial Finance Team
Requirements
  • 1-3 years minimum experience in a finance-focused role, with a proven track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Natural leadership skills, with the ability to bring out the best in others
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced environment, shaping the future of Elvie from the ground up
  • 'Can-do' attitude, proactive in seeking solutions and implementing change
  • Genuine love of working with data, transforming it to create insights
  • Advanced Excel skills and/or other data analysis tools, such as Alteryx and Tableau, with an interest in improving on these
Desirable
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified/finalist or ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Retail, FMCG, or e-commerce environment experience
  • Experience of sales channel strategies across Direct, Retail, Amazon, or Healthcare
