About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective support plans, working closely with teachers and other professionals.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a tailored learning experience for students.
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN support programs and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
