About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pensions Lawyer to join our team at Taylor Root. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in advising our clients on de-risking strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting complex transactions within the pensions sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on all aspects of pensions law with a particular focus on complex de-risking projects from inception to completion.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating associated legal documents.
  • Providing strategic legal advice on regulatory matters.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in pensions law and regulation.
  • Qualified lawyer with 9+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in pensions law, preferably with a focus on de-risking.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions law and regulations, including recent developments and best practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of pensions law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with changes in pensions law and regulation.
