Electrical Engineer Job Description

Wood is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Staines. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering projects that transform the world.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering
  • Certified Engineer desirable
  • Preferable to have experience in design, engineering, and construction
  • Preferable to have experience in 'FEED' projects or 'Detailed Design'
  • Ideally, familiar with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other International electrical standards, best practices, and value practices
  • Ideally, familiar with analogue and Digital Control Systems, including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC, and SCADA controls
  • Thorough knowledge of the English language required to perform in-depth analysis and studies, make professional presentations, and keep up with technical advancements
  • Preferable to have experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software and all Microsoft office
