The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Care Professional to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Health and Social Care Lead, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of Support Practitioners, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they deliver exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective service plans to meet the needs of supported individuals.
  • Lead and manage a team of Support Practitioners, providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Service Lead to ensure services are delivered within agreed budgets and contractual requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SSSC Codes of Practice and Health & Social Care Standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with supported individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in health and social care, with a strong understanding of SSSC Codes of Practice and Health & Social Care Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Sound knowledge of professional boundaries, accountabilities, and responsibilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, including attainment of a SVQ Social Services & Healthcare Level 7 qualification and PDA in Health & Social Care Supervision.
