Senior Cloud Migration Architect

As a Senior Cloud Migration Architect at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a key role in helping our customers accelerate their cloud migration journey. You will engage with senior customer leaders and technical stakeholders to develop solutions that increase agility and drive significant business value.

You will manage the technical relationship between ENGINEERINGUK and our customers, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate large-scale migration projects.

Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of ENGINEERINGUK features.

Externally, you will work with senior enterprises to help them effectively lead their migration assessment readiness and strategy.

You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures, as well as evangelize and educate about ENGINEERINGUK technology.

Can you work equally well with executives and technologists, leading high-visibility, high-impact IT transformation projects that are technically broad and deep? Do you understand the technical challenges of enterprise-level cloud migration projects?

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • Experience communicating across technical and nontechnical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities
